Privacy Policy
Corder Inc respects the privacy of the people who contact us, work with us, and use the systems we build. This policy explains what we collect through this website and in the course of an engagement, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who this policy covers
It covers visitors to cordergo.com, people who contact us about our services, and the staff of client organizations who work with us during an engagement. It also explains our role when we handle data inside a client's own systems on their instructions.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number and whatever you describe about your operation when you submit the contact form, email us or speak with our team. Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site, gathered through server logs and analytics. Information from an engagement: system credentials issued to us, configuration details, and the operational records we need to test and monitor an integration.
How we use information
We use it to answer enquiries and prepare proposals, to deliver and support the work under a statement of work, to invoice and keep accounting records, to secure and improve our own systems and this website, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use contact details for marketing beyond correspondence about the services you asked about unless you subscribe separately.
Client data we process for you
Integration work involves order records that may hold customer names, addresses and contact details. When we handle that data we act as a processor on the client's instructions: we reach for what the work requires, keep it inside the client's own systems where the architecture allows, and put it to no purpose of our own. Where a data processing agreement is required, we sign one before access is granted.
Security
We work under least-privilege access, use unique credentials and multi-factor authentication for client systems, encrypt data in transit, restrict internal access to the people on the engagement, and revoke credentials when a project ends. No system is secure against every attack. If a breach affects your information we notify you and, where the law requires it, the relevant authority without undue delay.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries that do not become engagements for up to twenty-four months. We keep project records, contracts and invoices for seven years to meet tax and accounting rules. We delete credentials and copies of client operational data when the engagement ends or when the client asks, whichever comes first, unless the law requires us to hold them.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We sell and share no personal information for advertising. To exercise a right, write to contact@cordergo.com. We respond within forty-five days and will not treat you differently for asking. Where the request concerns data we process on behalf of a client, we will pass it to that client and support their response.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and information sent to us is processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and stored in a country whose data protection rules may differ from your own. Where a transfer of European or United Kingdom personal data requires them, we use standard contractual clauses.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses and this site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change we update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal information we already hold, we will contact the people concerned directly before it takes effect.
Privacy questions and requests go to contact@cordergo.com or (601) 305-9904, or by post to Corder Inc, 851 E Northside Drive, Clinton, MS 39056, United States.
